The Shannon by Day by Gideon Farrell
Hello from Athlone!
I've been in Ireland for the last month and a bit (and am here for two more months) and this is one of the first photos of Athlone (which is in Co Westmeath).
I happen to be living right on the river bank, and the weather was lovely so I couldn't resist trying to capture the colour of the water (which is often quite remarkable). Thus I present to you the river Shannon.
Some technical details:
- 1/500 sec at f/14
- ISO 800 (silly me, should've used 400)
- 18mm focal length
