How do I join?
Art Is Murder is an invitation-only community, currently maintaining a population of around 100 members. We are, however, always open to considering new members.
We are invitation only but we are not elitist or interested only in skill level. We are just looking for people who are serious about their art, willing to help encourage and inspire others, and determined to improve and deepen their own work.
Consider the following:
1. Am I an active artist, producing at least a few pieces each month on average?
2. Am I keen to provide feedback for other artists?
3. Am I serious about becoming better and more successful?
4. Do I believe that I can help or encourage others and that others can help or encourage me?
5. Is my work truly original - not just an assembly of other people's imagery or mimicking of other people's work?

Choosing a username:
Your username must fit the following criteria:
- maximum of 16 characters
- use only letters, numbers, hyphens and underscores
- all lowercase, no capitals
- must begin with a letter, and end with a letter or a number
We are a small community, so it's extremely unlikely that the name you request is already taken.
(Please note, we only send replies if we decide to accept you. We don't make judgements about the value of your work, but we can't accept everyone - we simply try to choose the people who we feel will fit best into the community.)
