Managing your page
All of these functions are under "page-manager" in the top menu on your userpages.
Uploading an avatar
Your avatar must be fifty pixels square in size. If can be either JPG or GIF format. Simply select your file, and click upload. If the file is unacceptable, it should tell you why in most cases.
Avatars MUST NOT contain mature content.
Uploading a title graphic
This is the graphic displayed at the top of your sub-site pages.
Your title graphic must be 800x120 pixels in size. If can be either JPG or GIF format. JPGs of incorrect size will be resized to fit. GIFs of incorrect size will be rejected. The maximum file size is 60kb, and yes we know that makes it hard to fit animated graphics in.
Simply select your file, and click upload. If the file is unacceptable, it should tell you why in most cases.
Title graphics MUST NOT contain mature content.
Editing your front page text
Click page-manager in the top menu on your userpage. Then click "Front Page Text"
Editing your personal page
Click page-manager in the top menu on your userpage. Then click "Personal Page Editor". Note that only questionnaire questions that you answer will be displayed on your page. Remember to click submit where you're done here, there is just one submit button for the whole page.
Putting graphics on my page - using the Scrapbook
The Scrapbook is a tool that allows you to place decorative or illustrative graphics on your frontpage, personal page, and in your journals.
Click "page-manager" in the top menu of your userpage, then click "scrapbook manager".
Here you can upload GIFs or JPGs up to 600 pixels wide and high.
To insert a graphic into your text, use either the NAME of the graphic, or it's ID number (both are shown in the scrapbook library) in [square brackets].
eg: [34] or [title]
