Art Is Murder
...was created by kylarsk and elleeden because we wanted somewhere to expose and develop our art within a likeminded community of civilised people who shared these goals. Or, to put it another way - we got sick of the hordes of morons that have overrun deviantART. Also, we have a lot of ideas that we think can benefit a community like this, and wanted to give them a try.
Also, this site is designed to provide a useful, professional portfolio web presence for each of it's individual members.
Getting around:
This website has many faces. When you're in a general community page such as this, you'll see this normal Art Is Murder environment. But when you're on a page associated with a particular artist, you'll see their chosen page skin.
If you're on a main-site page, you can click home to return to the front page. If you are on one of an artist's pages, then "home" will take you to that artist's homepage, and "Art is Murder" will take you back to the main site.
Community:
This website has many features that only become visible once you log in as a member artist. Generally, this is everything involving community interaction. It includes:
- Critical dialogue between members on individual artworks.
- Insane forum discussions.
- Theme challenge contests.
- Restricted content of artwork and journals.
- Advanced userpage management tools.
